Dr. R A Mashelkar, Director General – Council of Scientific and Industrial Research as the Chief Guest, who in his inimitable style set the stage for a lively and colorful two day technical session. As many as seventeen speakers, of whom eight were international, presented their research work and their expert views on a wide range of topics. These included fluorescent labels for bioassays and imaging, novel hair dyes, organic photovoltaics etc.
The convention which attracted over 250 Delegates had 17 technical presentations covering:
